Some of the poker guys just left, and it isn't even midnight! Could it be that my husband finally remembers that he hasn't sent his mother a Christmas card yet? Maybe he's starting to feel guilty. Maybe he ran out of money.

No heat on the coldest night of the year :(

So not only is my phone gone, but I have no heat. My furnace is busted and the repair guy says he can't get the part until tomorrow. It is freezing in my house. Under 60 degrees, and falling!



Naturally, my husband, who is supposed to be here when things break, is in California, probably basking in the sun.



My phone is smarter than I am, though. It had the brains to sneak on board with him. That is one smart phone I own. Or used to own. It might meet another phone out there and never return. And I thought it liked all the uttering I did ...

So what happens if you utter too much about your husband? He "accidentally" takes your cell phone to California. That's one way to make me cut down on my usage!

Mooomie's Moood Chart, or, Merry Christmas, IRS

Here's a graph of my mood over the month of December. Notice how my mood jumped when my mom sent me my favorite cereal, Shreddies, and when my husband sent me roses. I'm projecting it will be really good at Christmas, (when I get my new socks!) only to be ruined by the fact that we owe a lot of taxes that need to be paid by the end of the year. Sigh. My Crappy Graph for Christmas

Here's my crappy graph for Christmas, comparing what I want to what I'll get. Luckily, since Venn diagrams are studied in third grade math, this was easy to do. Thanks to Phantasmagorical for the idea! I already have six pairs of Christmas socks, but I can always use another pair. I'll put world peace and universal healthcare on next year's list. I'm pretty sure we'll get a new president no matter what!
