So tomorrow I am supposed to head back to Massachusetts from Arizona, and now I learn that there is supposed to be a major snow storm there. Which normally would be OK, but I haven't seen my husband in two weeks, except briefly on Valentine's Day, and I was quite sick then because of a sinus infection. As in, I propped my head up with my water glass during our Valentine's Day dinner because it wouldn't stay up any other way. And I drank water instead of wine, because of all the cold medicines I was taking.
My husband is going to be in New York City tomorrow, and has already changed his plans to take the train back (because of the weather), so now he won't get back until Saturday. So if I actually get to fly into Boston tomorrow, I'll have to drive home myself in the snow and go to an empty house. That is, if I can get the car out of the parking lot where it is being left (my hubby is taking it to the subway station and I need to pick it up there). But more likely, I will get stuck in the airport for hours, and finally fly out the next day.
Well, this is just a rant. It will probably work out fine. They are probably wrong about the weather forcast.
But I really really am thinking that living anywhere except New England might be a pleasant change.
