So my daughter headed off for the wilds of Botswana. She has found an internet cafe and sent me an email!! I thought she'd be eating beef, but it turns out it is caterpillars. Now I'm glad she is there, and not me.
Here are her words ... "i'm in BOTSWANA and it is great. i see monkeys and baboons everywhere. right now we are staying on a nature reserve which has hot running water which i guess we're not going to get very much. my group seems awesome so far, but it's obviously only been 3 days. we ate caterpillers last night. which was traumatizing becuase i HATE THEM. they taste like grass and are really chewy and very much a caterpillar. right now i'm at the internet cafe becuase our group leader literally took us into the city and dropped us off random places and told us we had five hours to roam and meet in some far away location. so i've been kind of forced to get to know the city and haven't been disappointed."
